You need to restructure your thinking and start thinking positively, don’t dwell on the bad and see only the good. With this attitude towards life, all problems will be solved, illnesses will go away, negative situations will stop arising, happiness and prosperity will appear. I think that everyone has come across this opinion. The advice itself is not bad. A positive attitude in life is very important. However, in most cases, I notice that supporters of positive thinking do not take into account two important points: If no action is aimed at satisfying the emerging need, then even the most positive thought, the most positive attitude will not bring a person closer to the desired goal and to happiness. 🔹 The world is not always friendly and fair, but it is always unpredictable, and we live in a state of uncertainty every second. None of us can influence this. Nothing in the world is unambiguously positive or unambiguously negative. You can be happy poor or unhappy rich, failures can lead to success, and success can be temporary and turn into failure. A person can be happy about the bad and sad about the good. Often life offers us situations in which it is generally extremely difficult to find the positive. Those of us who have experienced loss understand this well. Sometimes the only good thing is that resources and opportunities are found to survive and survive. This is not a little, but very few see this as a plus. But, as a rule, it is those who have survived difficult situations and have rich life experience who have a more positive attitude towards life, because they see it realistically and objectively, without excessive idealization and expectations ( “He who has seen little, cries a lot” - remember?). Calls to think about the good and not notice the bad most easily resonate in the souls of those who, for various reasons, for example, trauma, experience fear of problems, difficulties, losses, rejection, they are afraid or ashamed of the manifestation of “bad” feelings - anger, anger, shame, something with which they absolutely do not know how to deal. The ideas of positive thinking return a person to childhood magical thinking - when a child believes that with his thoughts he can influence the world. That’s why these ideas are so popular: you don’t need to strain yourself, “you just need to start” thinking positively and you will be happy. But there is also a minus: a person with magical thinking takes upon himself not only responsibility for what happens to him, but also for what happens to him. what is happening to the world around him, for something that he cannot influence. When “just starting” to think positively fails and/or in life, despite affirmations and visualizations, nothing changes, a person begins to feel guilty for , which cannot completely get rid of negative thoughts and emotions, or influence circumstances that are not in his favor. The answer from the guru of positive thinking is usually the same: it’s your own fault, you’re either trying hard, or doing it wrong (doesn’t remind you of anything? To be honest, I consider most such advice and theories to be nothing more than a marketing ploy: while luring them in with the simplicity and speed of the solution, the gurus do not give their clients any support or guidance. And the person ends up in a vicious circle and becomes increasingly disconnected from reality. He becomes more and more afraid of negative thoughts, negative emotions, negative situations, and his worries about the fact that all this happens to him over and over again. And in order to somehow endure internal tension, he projects his fear and guilt onto those around him. This is why adherents of positive thinking are so actively distributing advice, aggressively defending their point of view and accusing those in difficult situations of being to blame for their own misfortunes. What does a positive attitude towards life and positive thinking mean for me? I’ll try to formulate: 🔹 Notice when I begin to focus more and more on the negative. And think: what is happening to me? Why do I need this particular orientation of perception? Having answered these questions, it becomes much easier and more natural to convert?
