Why do you need decluttering? Clutter is visual noise around us! Visual noise prevents you from focusing on important things, our gaze slides over a pile of garbage... And all your positive intentions slip away, important things become secondary. The cleaner the space around you, the more comfortable your brain feels. The easier it is to take on tasks that will lead you to something greater. There is scientific proof of this. Our brain is much more comfortable in clean, bright spaces, where there are no epicenters of chaos, where there are no distractions. A simple and common example: over the course of a week, my desktop becomes overgrown with various pieces of paper and trinkets that I haven’t put away. Monday morning comes, I need to sit down and work, but work doesn’t happen. The table is uncomfortable, inconvenient, littered, papers and objects distract thoughts. So I made it a habit to clear my desk every Sunday night. Once a month, I do a complete decluttering of the space, getting rid of everything that is unpleasant to my eyes. Yes, decluttering is difficult at first, but it is a super cool skill that cleans not only the physical space, but also the energetic and emotional one. Something new will not come into your life if there is a pile of old trash in it. Part with trash easily! Tips (lifehacks): It is often difficult to get rid of things that have an emotional connotation. Collect all the memorable little things that are in visible places and create a feeling of busy space around (frames, figurines, notes, tickets, etc.). Create an emotional box (suitcase) and put all the things that are memorable there and put it away. Open it in a month or two. Think about how often you thought about this thing before you saw it, is it really that important? And if there are no answers, then throw it away. If the item still resonates in your soul, then leave it in the box for a couple of months. Our emotional memory is not affected by all the saved tickets from the cinema, where you had a very good time. Decluttering postponed tasks. “Oh, good trousers, but they need to be hemmed, I’ll leave them.” Oh, it's fabric! I definitely want to make something out of it, oh, I want to repair/paint this old chair,” and 150 more such things that make up the “someday I’ll do” list. All these things take up space in your head, preventing you from focusing on important things. The most effective thing that will help you put things in order and in your head is that you need to set a deadline for each such thing/action: “I will deliver these trousers by this date, I will paint this chair by this date.” And believe me, if you missed your deadline, then you will NEVER do it!!!!!! And the list of these things will hang in your brain and you will think: “Oh, I have so many things to do, so many things to do!” There is absolutely no time to do anything useful for self-development, there is no opportunity to go to training.” Everything becomes simple - you missed a deadline - get rid of the thing. We make room for new ideas and goals that can really change your world and life. A cool trick for moms: we put in each room a box in which we put everything that gets in the way, clutters up the space, or is out of place. Then at the end of the day, week, month, you can disassemble the box and put everything back in its place - this saves time on cleaning. But the box will definitely help create a space that is not phony and without house. Sign up for a personal consultation
