Good afternoon, Dear Friends! And you and I continue to study the work of a psychologist and its various features, we continue to share our experience and knowledge accumulated during practice. I bring to your attention the three hundred and twelfth article in the series! - as promised, a few more words on the topic of if a person is just worried about relationships in life... If someone doesn’t answer us immediately by phone or on social networks, we won’t get anything from it We also lose if some relationships don’t work out. It is important, in general, to understand that worrying too much all the time may be pointless. We do not lose security because communication fails, and so on. As I wrote, here we work on achievements, first of all, shifting the focus of attention in this direction. About achievements, about excitement, competition, about returning power to yourself, about attracting attention to yourself (especially if we are talking about a girl), about building interesting strategies - for example, how to impress someone, make them envy (among friends). In the latter cases, there may be work about the fear of causing envy, the fear of attracting attention to oneself, shame... And it is also important to understand about how the client himself deals with envy; - such work can cause a conflict between the therapist and the client, but not very big and there is no need to be afraid of it; - maybe it makes sense to move the client’s request from the plane of “I’m upset” to the plane of “what else can be done?” - buying a car is a narcissistic project: what brand of car will look good, you can offer to fantasize about it with the client . And if you have fish in an aquarium at home - who will be able to see them!? - wants to pick up a kitten and cure it? Perhaps this is done out of pity; perhaps the client is hoping to “buy” the relationship in this way. And gaming relationships can be dangerous for him. They might quit! But the client can quit too! He can at least pretend that he, too, is giving up (this is already about the game, about returning power to himself); - in this case, you can confront the idea about the kitten. Why choose? Why not take a thoroughbred that you can show off to your friends? Actually, a dog would be better suited here! You need to walk with her, you can show her to someone: “Look, what a rare breed I have.” And the cat usually sits at home all the time; why does it choose the weak? A kitten from the street is some kind of weak creature. Does the client consider himself weak? Maybe I’ll add a few more topics on the topic tomorrow. Do you also want to share something? Please write below in the comments! It will be important and interesting for everyone to learn something useful for their work or just for themselves! Thank you for your attention!
